I Pray Thee

Lord in these times of uncertainties I don't know where to hold on to.
My spirit and my body is not well my Lord.
I seek your calmness, I seek your healing, I seek peace.

Take away my anxiety.
Give me courage.
I ask for will.

Take away this fatigue.
Give me strength.
I ask for health.

I pray thee.

I can't breath now

Sleepless nights haunt me
I don't know what to feel
The fear of the unknown kills me
And the fear of knowing jolts me

This one, i brought to myself
Aren't I in the same boat again
I should've known better
I know better

Hellos and goodbyes
Acceptance and rejections
Regrets and moving on
Am i ready for this?

I feel the pain
I smell the sorrow
I can't breath now
Lord help me

The One Who Listens (A September Prayer)

I never really thought I belived in God,
but I found myself saying this over and over in my head,
"He won't judge us from what we have, but what we have become for him."
Have I reached a new low?

Frustrations ate me recently,
and it did chew up my confidence and constant shield.
I normally shove these to the side and come out unaffected,
but it did made my gait quiver, but then I let go.

What have I got to do but to move on,
and be the best that I can be.
No pretensions,
though with little apprehensions.

There is a greater being that has held this world before us.
I am not sure if God really looks over us, guiding us.
Though that, I know leaving this world would be meaningless,
if not offering our selves to a greater sense.

With that, I take this prayer,
as a reflection of my acquaintance to myself,
and to God as my re-recognized God and Friend,
when no one else is there to listen.

My Prayer at 12th

nov.4.2003

Living this life is like a burden.
Passing the standards is an everyday struggle.
“You must do this, not that,”
Is my Last Song Syndrome.

When will I feel they care?
They might have, but it isn’t tangible.
To me at least,
I wanna know the feeling.

That’s why I’m afraid to love, to trust,
To commit, to care or even bother.
I might’ve planned my life one-sidedly
That I forgot to include the essentials.

I don’t know where to pick the pieces.
It’s all messed up.
How will I start? Should I even bother?
Come what may.

Should I hate myself? Have I done this solely?
Can you blame me?
They were all here before me,
And yeah, my mistakes.

I know that we pass by this unwanted road
Several times during our lifetime.
I know I can cross this safely,
And aware that there’s another road waiting for me.

I bet I’m halfway,
I’m starting to have faith.
Oh Lord, I wanted you to be there.
Are you really out there?

I’m sorry Lord,
Just in times like this
We humans don’t know where to hold on to.
Just holds on to a faith; of hope and belief.

Lord, when I’m already at the other side is there another trial?
Is the road much harder to cross?
We’ll by that time I must be ready.
Just guide me oh Lord, like what you are doing right now.
